If you're the parent of a Class of 2027 High School Junior, you might be wondering…

“Is it too early to start thinking about senior photos?” The short answer? Not at all.

The seniors who book earlier actually get the most personalized experience because we have time to plan something that truly reflects who they are.

My sessions are carefully designed around one senior at a time, which means no rushing, no pressure, and plenty of time to relax and have fun! It's so much more than just a series of smile n' click photos.

Below are just a few of the reasons parents feel relieved to know their child's session is officially booked and onto the calendar.

Why Does Booking Early Make a Difference?

When seniors reach out early in the year, it gives us time to do something that makes the Julie Frances Photography experience truly special: plan a session around YOU.

Can I bring my Dog? YEEEESSSS, please!

Before we ever step in front of the camera, we talk.

I want to learn things like:

• What do you love to do? • Are you more drawn to the ocean, nature-y fields, or something completely different?

• Do you want a relaxed nature vibe or something more urban and creative?

• Are there hobbies, sports, pets, cars, or locations that matter to you? Once we start talking, my creative brain turns into an idea machine.

Whimsical Beauty!

Over the years, I've helped seniors create sessions in places like:

• scenic coastal beaches

• quiet fields in Maine

• picturesque gazebos & gardens

• downtown streets

• sports fields

• at the library

• on a boat

• even at an airport

Your senior photos should reflect your personality and your story!

What Does the JFP Senior Photo Experience Look Like?

Working with me means you have ample time— this is key to feeling relaxed and comfortable out in front of the camera. I don't schedule back-to-back Senior Sessions, I create & design the experience around one senior at a time because that is how we get those naturally beautiful "YOU" photos!

This means:

• plenty of time to relax • multiple outfit changes • exploring different a variety of different spots

• time to include what's important to you • no rushing or feeling awkward

Most sessions unfold naturally over the course of an evening and typically last 2–3 hours.

What usually happens is this:

Seniors start out a little nervous……and by the end they're laughing and completely comfortable. This is when we're out there capturing true "MAGIC"!

Parents often say they can't believe how naturally their child’s personality shows up in their photos! THIS IS my favorite part!

REAL FUN = REALLY FABULOUS!

PEACE OF MIND But here's the reality— by offering each Senior ample time like this, makes for calendar with fewer available dates. Sessions are limited. When the dates are gone...my calendar closes for the season. But, booking early secures your spot! Honestly, many parents tell me how relieved they feel after booking, just knowing they can check this off their to-do list! And having a busy family life of my own, I totally get this!!

Many Popular Senior Photo Locations are Seasonal!

A woman in a blue floral top, stands pensively in a field of purple lupines, with one hand in her pocket and sunlight on her hair.

Many seniors choose locations like: • coastal beaches

• golden-lit fields• lupine fields (an early & short season!)

• summer blooms

• scenic nature spots

• fall foliage

Because some of these locations are seasonal, it does make the session availability limited, Booking earlier gives you the best chance to capture the setting you love most AND snag an available date on the calendar before they're gone.

Let’s Start Planning Your Session If you're a Class of 2027 upcoming High School Senior now is the perfect time to start the conversation! We will talk about:
